“That He (Christ) might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Ephesians 5:27)

Now, Jesus has not yet come because the church is not mature for marriage. The Lord Himself said only the Father knows the time of His coming. The Father is the One who knows when the body will be fully mature because she is the bride betrothed to His son. No father will marry a six years old bride to his son: that bride is not mature, she is yet to reach puberty, her reproductive organs are undeveloped, she has no wisdom for marriage, she’s got to need more time to be trained in education and character and to be ready for the responsibility of marriage and most especially, to understand the groom.
