Healing for all
I want to speak on healing and I will like to start with a legend I learn from the great Oral Roberts, one of the greatest world healing evangelists I know.
“There is an old legend handed down that tells us how even the wooden cross on which Jesus died brought healing:
“Helena, the mother of Constantine, while on pilgrimage to Jerusalem, gave instructions to search for the cross of Christ. As the workmen looked through the rubbish heaps of Calvary, they found three crosses, but the inscription which was over the head of Christ was lying in a separate place. There was no clue as to which of the crosses was the one on which our Lord died.
“Marius, the minister of the Christian church in Jerusalem, said, ‘We will test the true cross.’ The sick were gathered together. They tried one cross, but there was no leaping of the lame nor opening of the eyes of the blind. They took the second cross, yet there was no response. But when they took the third cross, blind eyes were opened, deaf ears were unstopped, the lame leaped to their feet and the sick were made whole”
The wooden cross that stood on Calvary is gone. The Christ who hung thereon is ascended and reigns from heaven. Outwardly, we see the cross no more. But Jesus the person lives on, and in Him the lost, straying, suffering multitudes of every generation may find perfect deliverance. Jesus Christ is as real today as when the multitudes saw Him with their physical eyes .He is spiritual reality-the center of the plan of redemption of humanity-spirit, soul and body”
The three aspects of healing
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thess. 5:23).
Man is a spirit, he has a soul and he lives in a body. Man was whole as a spirit, his soul was whole and his body was whole until the fall. Thus there are three aspects of healing which became necessary from the fall of man.
In the beginning it was not so
There used to be a world free of all forms of evil, it was the original creation of God. It was the state of this world before man sinned and fell from all grace. There was no evil in the beginning. “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.” (Gen 1:31).
God made man in His own image and God is a Spirit. (John 4:24).
God is love, the love nature is the DNA of God and it was in man when God made him. That same love influenced the whole earth. Even the animals were peaceful and accommodating. Adam named them all and he loved them. They were his friends. Imagine how peaceful the world must have been!
Man has a free “will”
God does not love man to be a robot, because He’s not one Himself. He had to make man in His own image according to His plan, so He made man a free will agent, leaving man with the ability to chose, to make decisions.
The justice of God requires this. God doesn’t interfere in human will
The world was perfect and free of all forms of evil until man; the original and rightful ruler turned its ruler ship over to the devil. It was through a voluntary act of rebellion in the Garden of Eden.
God had given man the authority over everything He created, and the world was in line with the nature of man and God. When the ruler ship was turned over to the devil, the world in its entirety literally took the nature of the devil; the earth became corrupt with all that is in it. Even the animals became cruel because the devil rules them now, they were sad for man’s decision but they had no option, because man was their governor.
The whole creation is groaning in pains, crying for redemption. (Rom 8;20-22) Sickness accompanied sin; even the natural air was infected. Sickness began afflicting man; even the animals will grow sick and die. Age began to work weakness, contrary to God’s perfect design. That was the origin of all the evil in this world, all the earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis, floods, death, suffering and pains; they were the products of this new ruler-the devil. Adam had led the entire creation in rebellion towards God.
Evil will end
The ruler ship of this world in it’s entirety will be taken completely from the devil and he will suffer the consequence of all that he has done, but that will not be until the appointed time, the contract between the devil and Adam will expire after the second coming of Christ and a new earth will be made where there will be no Satan, sin and all that results from it (Please note that satan’s dominion and authority is broken over any man who has accepted Jesus as Lord and saviour by faith for that man is a new creature who has been delivered from the authority of darkness and is translated into the kingdom of Christ Col.1;13. 2 Cor.5;17). God is a just God, and He will not break into this agreement, before time. It was the man whom He put in charge that signed that contract. The entire human race was in him when he did it.
God will cast Satan into the lake of fire when the time comes, the contract will expire, then evil shall totally cease, God will make everything new:
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” (Rev 21:4-5)
Man needs wholeness
The spirit of man became dead after the fall and thus needs the healing of life. The spirit man has a soul which is made of the thoughts, the will (ability to chose) and the emotions (feelings). We must understand that Satan is not the absolute in the realm of evil, sin is, for it took Satan himself, the best of God’s angels and bent him to serve its will. The same way Satan freely yielded his will to be taken by sin, man yielded his will to be taken by the Satan who serves sin, back in Eden.
From that day, the human soul was filled with darkness and his feelings cannot be trusted for they are stirred for the pleasure of evil in selfishness. His decision has brought him into a trouble he can’t resolve by himself. The wounded soul of man will never find healing except in the loving heart of God.
God sent Jesus
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved”. (John 3:16-17)
God saw the human need for salvation from sin and all that resulted form it, including all sickness, diseases, pains and sorrows, and thus sent Jesus to come and liberate humanity, to bring healing to the whole man.
We must understand that sickness is spiritual and so also is healing. It will be false to say He only paid for our sins; He also paid for our healing. Jesus came and was crushed down under the weight of sin, not the ones that He committed, for He had no sin. He represented the entire human race, took the condemnation of death, which is the penalty for our sins, Jesus literary became us on the cross. Jesus was the perfect Son of God, full of beauty, full of light, full of live and full of love, but He was driven by love and compassion for humanity, so much that He laid down all that He has and was for us
Made sick with all our sickness, made sin with all our sins
“Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form or comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our grieve (Hebrew “sicknesses”), and carried our sorrows(Hebrew “diseases”): yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:1-6)
The scripture above is all about Jesus and the work of redemption from sin and diseases.Mathew gospel explains that Jesus ministry of healing is the fulfillment o this prophecy “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” and Hebrews 13:8 says “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever”. HE STILL HEALS!
He was made sick with all our sicknesses, His spirit and soul took the nature of our spirit and soul, all, the darkness, all the wounds, all the pains of abuse, of molestation, all of grieve, all of infections, the shame of being nakedly crucified. He took all upon Himself. He took all our bodily sicknesses as much as He took our spiritual sicknesses. He took both the physical and the inner troubles that afflict us, resulting form sin.
He moved with compassion to the cross and there He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement necessary for us to have peace was all placed upon Him and with His stripes we are healed.
Every stripes of Jesus took care of certain illnesses; He took away all the cancer, all the pains completely, He couldn’t stand us bearing them, for He loved us with an everlasting love
Jesus was so disfigured on that cross that one would scarcely identify Him, He was brutally wounded, and He was crushed under pains, anguish and agony. The father placed His entire wrath and all our afflictions upon Him on the cross, and He’s not angry with humanity anymore.You have been healed,belief and receive it.
“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes YE WERE HEALED.” 1 Peter 2:24
Those truths were accomplished and we have been healed over 2000 years ago,you just have to see it in the Word and start giving thanks for it and rise up from thine sick condition hollering “praise God I have been healed!”. That is faith!
We must understand the PAST tenses of God’s Word.
Separated from the father
To save man from spiritual death, total separation from God that began at the fall, Jesus faced spiritual death for us all, once and for all times. He actually saw the father turned His back on Him, just like man was cut off from God back in Eden. The righteous God could not look upon such unrighteousness as His Son now bore on that three for humanity. He knew no sin, but He was made sin for our sake that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (1Cor. 5; 21). It was a legal transaction.
Son of Man
More than eighty one times in Mathew, Mark Luke and John, Jesus called Himself the Son of man; He was born of an earthly mother like every other child. Everything He did on earth, He did as the Son of man. He offered Himself perfectly to God for humanity through the Holy Spirit. He was representing the entire human race in the face of justice.
Jesus cried out “my father, my father, why have you forsaken me?” He has never been separated from the father before that day. He foresaw that would happen in Gethsemane, and pleaded with the father, but He voluntarily submitted His will to God the fathers will, saying “not my will but yours be done”
The claims of justice is satisfied
Jesus satisfied all the claims of justice for us and when He was doing it, we were doing it in Him for He was the second and the last Adam.
When the first Adam sinned, the entirety of humanity sinned in him, thus when the second Adam, Jesus Christ took all the sins and was suffering the penalty, the entire humanity was suffering in Him, when He satisfied the claims of justice, we all satisfied the claims of justice, when, He died, we all died with Him and when He rose form the dead we rose with Him. He went to hell with us in Him, He won all the victory with us in Him, and when He rose, He rose with us in Him.
12Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
“For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.”(Romans 5:12-15)
Satan can’t legally hold us anymore
Now, the devil has no right to hold us bound to sin, to sickness and to disease anymore, if only we will lay hold on our rights in Christ. We are freed already, only ignorance can hold us bound. The prison gate is broken, only for each man to walk out. That’s where the will is involved, you must choose. Everybody can be healed if only we will come to the cross by faith and obtain the healing that has been wrought for us.
The link with your miracle
Faith will activate it for you. Faith is the link with all the works and blessings of redemption. It’s time to come by faith and receive what belongs to you today. Faith is always in the now. To receive healing is to see you’re already healed by Him. Everything God did in Christ, He did for the whole world including you. You’re so personal to God and as dear in His heart as Jesus Christ. Believe me.
Faith begins where the will of God is known. God’s word is Gods will and it includes all the account of how He has done everything necessary for you to be in sound health. note that the first verse of Isiah 53 asked the question “who has believed our report, and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed” It went on to give the details how that Jesus has carried all our sins, sicknesses, pains and sorrows and has took It away on the cross. But it says that we have to believe to receive it. The arm of the Lord is always with you to bring healing into your body the moment you believe that testimony.It is God’s will to heal you, and to heal you NOW!
Receive your healing now
“For verily I say unto you, That WHOSOEVER shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mar 11:23-24)
The first step to your healing is to see that God has done everything necessary for your healing, God has done it all in Christ. You only have a role to play in taking what He has given. Refuse to accept what you feel in your body,see your sickness placed upon Jesus,that means it’s no longer on you. Trust in what God says and speak to that sickness is your body right away. Don’t believe in that sickness and all the feelings but believe in the Word. Ask it to go away in Jesus name for it has no right to stay. Your body is yours and you have the right to what you allow to stay in it. Expel sickness, it’s due to go now!
The power of the name of Jesus
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phi 2:9-11)
When you decree anything in the name of Jesus, if you believe in that name, it is as though Jesus Himself is standing right there and making the decree by Himself.
“And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it”. (John 14:13-14)
His name in your mouth is not less powerful than it is in His own mouth. Don’t expect a lesser result than the one you would expect Him to have if He were standing there physically, right now in front of you to make the decree by Himself. Jesus was so sure you will have anything you ask, only belief Him. Dare to ask!
Whatever you say shall stand! Whatever you decree shall be established! Belief me, Jesus is a healing Jesus, He has a healing nature, He has a HEALING NAME, He has a healing heart, He’s full of compassion for the sick and will always heal, even now, for He hasn’t changed a bit, the sickness will go in Jesus name. God does not want you to be in pain so, do not agree to be sick much longer, you will not experience the blessing of healing if you’re not tired of getting sick. Make a bold declaration of faith. Speak to that mountain of sickness to leave your body, tell that evil thing to go out, you don’t have to keep it if you don’t want to keep it, and I’m sure you definitely do not love to be sick because I’ve been sick and now I’m healed and I know the difference.
The devil is the thief,not God!
The devil is the one that afflicts people with sickness; He’s the thief, not God who wants you well. Jesus declares “the thief comes not but to steal to kill and to destroy but I come that you may have life and have it to the full” (John 10:10.)
You see, you have to agree with the life of Jesus and stand and disagree with the thief- the devil. Stand up in faith and begin to do what you cannot do before,doing what yo cannot do before is an act of faith, it is how to act upon the Word of God. Get out of your sick bed. You’re healed in Jesus name, spirit, soul, and body. Jesus makes you whole now! Begin to say it, belief it with your heart, say it with your mouth,take it by faith, stand up from your sickbed in the name of Jesus!
My testimony of healing
I was born with a severe ailment, It’s a terminal sickness that drains my blood and leaves me weak and suffering, coupled with chronic headaches and several other terrible symptoms,the Doctors has called it chronic anemia,my parents had spent fortune on it,several prescriptions had been given but to no avail. It was only by faith in the Word that my parents would know I would survive the next minute.I had passed out times without numbers and often stay out for several minutes. My parents as people of the Word would often speak the Word over me and say I will not die,they would tell me and the devil that I belong to the Lord . Each time it starts, I will feel like dieing. I suffered from it for a long time, sometimes it’s like I will never survive it, like there a little demon whispering to me that “you will die” And I always answer it with “I shall not die but live to declare the works of God” I knew I would live because I was born and raised in the word of God,and that Word,the Holy Bible never promised me any thing less than abundant life, sound health and satisfaction with long life and prosperity,and God cannot lie
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.(Psalm 91;15-16)

I look into the Word and among those scriptures I found were those three witnesses above. That was how I knew the devil was the one speaking lies.I KNOW GOD WANTS ME WHOLE!
I started the ministry of preaching at the age of five, just a day after I got saved. I asked Jesus to come into my life in the little room where I was living with my mother, whose mother would always pray over me.
I got tired of being sick!
One day, while I was preaching on the blood and the cross. It was in an Easter retreat organized by a Gospel Church. I was 19 years old; I got tired completely and was not willing to keep that sickness much longer. Before that time, I’ve ministered to many people, starting from the time I got filled with the Holy Ghost, during an intercessory meeting in my grandfather’s church at eight.
I’ve heard all kinds of healing testimonies in the three dimensions spirit, soul and body, but I was sick myself. I’ve also read about many healing ministers that died sick like Elisha. I thought perhaps the reason why Elisha, the Old Testament prophet and healer died sick is lack of personal faith for healing, since more than two million children of Israel believed in the healing promise of God and there was not even a single one sick among them,that was in the Old Covenant before Christ come,It can not be worse now it can only be better!
“Now, Elisha was fallen sick of HIS SICKNESS whereof he died.” (2 Kings 13; 14) That sickness has become terminal and recognized with him, noticed it says “of his sickness”.
Faith is personal
“That if THOU shalt confess with THY mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in THINE heart that God hath raised him from the dead, THOU shalt be saved.
For with the HEART man believeth unto righteousness; and with the MOUTH confession is made unto salvation”. (Rom 10:9-10)
“For verily I say unto you, That WHOSOEVER shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in HIS HEART, but shall believe that those things which HE saith shall come to pass; HE shall have whatsoever HE saith.” (Mark 11:23)
Notice the words in capital letters and see how personal they are.
The anointing was so strong in Elisa that it lingered upon his bones after his death and even raised a man back to life, whose corpse touched it. But he died with sickness for what I belief to be the lack of personal faith for healing. God showed me I needed to have personal faith for personal healing and I became desperate! I developed my faith for personal healing by reading, hearing and meditating on the same word of God I’ve preached that has stirred up faith in the people for their own healing.
The power of a spoken faith!
One day, while studying the Word, I discovered the power of a spoken faith from 2 Corinthians 4:13 “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” I spoke and cursed all the root of that sickness in my body. I never stopped studying on the subject of healing, at that time I’ve red turns of books on this subject. I discovered from my Study Bible that both the Hebrew and the Greek word for mouth are similar, they both means, the edge of a sharp object, a weapon, like a dagger or sword. The bible declares the word of God is sharper than any two edged sword. It also called it the sword of the spirit. I started using this sword of spirit-the word of God in my month, to cut down the root of the sickness in my body,I kept speaking to it.
At first I only felt sick the more, there was no single sign of physical improvement but I have learn better that the symptoms should not tell me I’m healed, I should tell it I am healed and it would leave, I chose not to work by sight ,not to stagger at the healing promises of God through unbelief,not to waver but to be stable . I resolved I would not consider the symptoms but would act upon God’s word by faith in spite of my feelings, considering the Word of God potent enough to make me what it says, I was giving thanks to God for my healing and I was fully persuaded by those promises that has sank into my spirit from the Word of God.The Word of God has a stimulating effect on the spirit of man and the spirit of man responds in faith,so faith is the response of the recreated human spirit to the Word of God, thus the Word says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10;17) and I learn all those secrets from the Word of God.Through meditating upon the word of God,the Word leaves the region of our head and it sinks down deep into our spirit, at this point, we start believing, the Word starts becoming more real to us than the symptoms of the sicknesses.Faith is purely of the heart and the heart as used in the bible is not our blood pumping heart but our spirit,the word of God says with the heart ( spirit) man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10;10) You see,when our spirit has digested the Word then it starts producing faith, for faith is not of the head but of the heart-spirit.The next thing is that we start confessing what we belief and we hold fast to it and win with it.Glory to God the Word works!.We also see in Mark 11;22-24,the connection between faith,confession and prayer:
“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have FAITH in God(Greek ”have the faith of God”).For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye PRAY, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
The Word speaks concerning the enduring faith of Abraham saying
“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He STAGGERED NOT AT THE PROMISE OF GOD THROUGH UNBELIEF; but was STRONG IN FAITH, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.” (Romans 4;19-22)
The Word also encourage us also not to waver or stagger by looking to the symptoms but to belief and look unto the Word for whoever allows doubt and unbelief will not receive anything from the Lord but firm faith in the Word is what God honours and His Word cannot return to Him void so faith in the Word shall not fail.
“For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55;10-11)
I understand that I must ask and receive by faith what soever I desire in His Word and I must not doubt,considering the symptoms above God’s Word but stand firm and believe I receive.
“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1;4-6)
Standing on the Word
I stood firm on the word and held fast to the confession of my faith. I started reciting and personalizing all the healing scriptures I could come by from my bible, especially Isaiah 53:5. I said them like God would say them directly to me. All the symptoms of that sickness started responding to the word of God! The word works! Yes! I’m a living witness. I know from Mark 11:23 that I will have whatsoever I say, so I was careful enough to start saying only what I wanted to have. I never stopped saying it until It brought me into the light that I have it.
I discovered the power of memorizing and reciting the word of God over a situation. It’s what I call affirmation. It begins to strengthen my faith. The more I declare it, the more real it becomes, the more sure it becomes, the more confidence I possess, just as love becomes stronger when confessed, those Words becomes more stronger and real to me as I confess them. The symptoms of the sickness became of no effect to me and on me again. I gained a degree of light from the Word of God that initiated me into a life that is beyond the sickness. It worked because God’s integrity is the back of His word. And God is not a man who can lie. God’s throne will fall before His word will fail; you see how impossible is it for the Word to fail? The Word cannot fail! Never! Isaiah 55; 11. We can fail the Word through unbelief but the Word cannot fail us!
The symptoms came back!
The symptoms came back sometimes later but I never gave up, I stood on the Word of God and made it my anchor. I leaned on the Word; I kept declaring that I have been healed. Healing became more than a feeling to me, it became a living reality. I got it because I never gave up. I stood on the Word and I refused to be discouraged by the feelings of pains and weakness, I spoke to those pains again and again and said ‘go’, I spoke to the weakness and said ‘strength’ Just as the Lord says “let the weak say I am strong” I declared that I cannot be sick. I said the blood of Jesus can’t be short, neither can mine. I can never forget it in my entire life, the same testimony I just shared had not only taught many to be healed but also to stay healed.I have been healed ever since then,I wrote this testimony at the age of 22 and I wrote as a healthy man.Glory to God! If you will take the Word and get out of your sickness by faith,you will become a testimony! Many quit too soon,they quit before the Word sink into their spirit.They quit when the Word is only in their head and not their heart and they think it’s not working for them,we put the Word to work by faith!
Satan loves coming back
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”. (James 4; 7)
Satan is very stubborn, he will always love to come back again and push some negative feeling across our path, but we have a more sure word of prophecy, it’s the word of the living God. After tempting Jesus the Bible says he left him for a while. Each time he tried to attack Jesus or hinder Him later, Jesus rebuked him. He never got tired and said “keep on devil” The Word is living and active. Always resist him, don’t shut your mouth! Talk the Word back to the devil! That’s the secret to an all round victory!
We are not of the devil
“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” (1John 5: 19 -20)
The whole world around us lies in the power of the evil one, but we are not part of that world of evil, we are part of the kingdom of God
Stand firm on the word and rebuke fear, doubt and unbelief. Do not give place to the devil in your thought live,thought is the primary way satan influences lives today. You see, the thoughts you entertain today will become the future you relate with.Where you are today,no mater what condition is a product of your indwelling thoughts and your spoken words,learn therefore to be positive for as a man thinks in his heart,so is he (Proverbs 23;7). Learn to work in love and forgiveness for one of the greatest hindrances to divine health I know is failure to walk in love towards all, and failure to forgive those who have offended us. This is giving place to the devil and the bible warns us not to give place to the devil (Ephesians. 4:27). If you’ve failed in this area, repent and obtain forgiveness by faith in God’s love and mercy,you cant live a healthy life if you are harboring grudges in your mind,keep a free mind by forgiving and settling the ought you might have with any one. Walk in the light of Gods word, “for if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sins.” (1 John 1; 7)
Stand strong on the word of God, recite the Word. Do the Word, resist the devil and he shall flee. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (Jam 4:7) Satan flees when he’s resisted by those who have submitted their selves to God.
You are not helpless
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. (Heb 4:12-13)
Always know that you are not alone in any situation, God is with you. You must understand that the word of God is God that’s why it is personalized in the thirteenth verse. “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight”.
That Word is a personality companion that you always have together with the Holy Ghost without whom you cannot understand it. The sword of the spirit is also the word of God. This sword is never weak but is always living and active. This sword is never dull but it is ever sharper than any two edged sword and it can cut down anything. Strike the devil with the sword you have! Death and life is in the tongue, he who loves it will eat the fruit of it. (Proverbs18; 21) If you want live, speak life. You will have what you say. The sword in your month is both defensive and offensive, you can cut the enemy with it and you can cut yourself. Many have been wounded by their own confession without even knowing it. Don’t blame God; because what you have is what you brought forth by your own thoughts and words. The sword is not only active when it cuts the enemy. It will cut you, if you turn it to yourself.
Don’t confess the negative like someone who is hopeless. Don’t condemn yourself because God has accepted you. Learn to say only what you want to have. Speak life and live. Speak health and be free from sickness. God loves you as much as he loves Jesus. Believe in that love! He has giving you all things, but only those that are good and perfect. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” (James 1:17)
Over comers for life
The bible says “whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” (1John 5; 4) Whatsoever means anything at all, be it, a word, a thought, or an action that is born of God, so it has overcome the world and will keep overcoming it. Each time Satan pushes up his ugly head, remember that Jesus is the seed of the woman, and He has crushed his head. The prophecy has been fulfilled that says the seed of the woman will bruise the head of the serpent and the devil is not healed and will never be healed (Gen 3; 15) we are on the victory side, and the devil has been defeated.
The devil will be completely destroyed in the lake of fire but before then he is still active in his itinerant ministry, he’s always going about as a lion looking for whom to devour but he is not a lion Christ is the Lion of Judah and He is in You. satan cannot defeat you if you take your stand on the victory side in Christ. He has not legal right over you as a child of God, and if you are not a child of God yet, God is waiting to welcome you into His family right now. You can become one now by simply asking Jesus to come into your life and be your Lord and savior.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”(Romans 10; 9-10.)
