Description

The Bible records the incident of a golden calf. God’s people melted their golds into an idol to replace God (Exodus 32). However, we later see them contributing their gold and treasures to build God’s house (Exodus 35:4). When they worshipped gold, it was evil, but when they used gold to worship God, it was good. Gold did nothing, the people did everything. They only used it to do what was in their heart. In the same way today, it is what people do with gold and silver that can be good or evil. Among other things, this book addresses the question of whether or not Christian women should use jewelry.
